Monuments and Statues:
Originally adorned with statues and decorative elements, the Colosseum featured a colossal bronze statue of Nero, the Colossus Neronis, standing near the main entrance. The statue was later moved to the nearby Amphitheatrum Flavium, adding to the imposing presence of the amphitheater.
