Immerse yourself in the elegance of Italy's first capital among the treasures of the Egyptian Museum and the view from the Mole Antonelliana, enjoying the sweetness of a Bicerin in its historic cafés.
Day 1: The Living Room of Italy and the Royal Treasures
Morning: Start in the heart of the city: Piazza Castello. Here, you're surrounded by history: admire Palazzo Madama, with its double façade (one Baroque and one medieval), and the majestic Royal Palace. Spend the morning visiting the Royal Museums and the Royal Armoury, strolling through the Royal Gardens to feel part of the Savoy court. Don't forget to admire the Cathedral of San Giovanni Battista, where the Holy Shroud is kept (though not on display).
Lunch: Stop at one of the historic cafés under the porticoes for a quick but traditional lunch. Try the tramezzini (originated right here, at Caffè Mulassano) or a plate of Agnolotti del Plin with roasted meat sauce.
Afternoon: Stroll along Via Roma and its elegant boutiques until you reach Piazza San Carlo, nicknamed "Turin's living room." Visit the Egyptian Museum: prepare for an incredible journey among sarcophagi, mummies, and the statue of Ramses II. It's an immersive experience that requires time and patience to fully appreciate.
Day 2: The Symbol, the Cinema, and the Royal Snack
Morning: Head to the city's undisputed symbol: the Mole Antonelliana. Ride the transparent panoramic elevator to the spire for a 360-degree view of the city and the Alps. Afterward, explore the National Cinema Museum located inside the Mole, a fun and interactive spiral tour that traces the history of cinema.
Lunch: Savor authentic Piedmontese cuisine. Find a "piola" (typical trattoria) and order veal with tuna sauce (it's an art form here) and tajarin with butter and sage or truffle (if in season).
Afternoon: Move toward the grand Piazza Vittorio Veneto, which slopes down toward the Po River. Giorno 3: Il Parco, il Borgo e il Belvedere
Mattina: Immergiti nel verde del Parco del Valentino, lungo le rive del Po. Qui troverai il Borgo Medievale, una fedele ricostruzione ottocentesca di un villaggio feudale piemontese, completo di rocca visitabile. È un luogo fiabesco e molto fotogenico. Non perdere la Fontana dei Dodici Mesi, un angolo suggestivo e romantico del parco.
Pranzo: Resta in zona San Salvario o vicino al fiume per provare la Salsiccia di Bra (che si mangia cruda) o la Battuta di Fassona.
Pomeriggio: Attraversa il ponte Vittorio Emanuele I e raggiungi la chiesa della Gran Madre di Dio, che ricorda il Pantheon di Roma (e secondo le leggende esoteriche nasconderebbe indizi sul Graal). Sali (a piedi o in bus) al Monte dei Cappuccini: da qui avrai la vista più iconica in assoluto di Torino, con la Mole che svetta sui tetti e le montagne sullo sfondo. Chiudi il viaggio onorando il rito torinese per eccellenza: l'Aperitivo a base di Vermouth e stuzzichini infiniti.
