Giorno 3: La Giudecca, i Pupi and the sea
Morning: Return to Ortigia and explore the ancient Giudecca (Jewish Quarter). Visit the Jewish Bath (Miqwe), the oldest in Europe, hidden beneath a hotel and rediscovered by chance. Learn about tradition by visiting a workshop or a small museum of Sicilian puppets (pupi siciliani). Day 3: Giudecca, the Pupi, and the Sea.
Lunch: Relax with an almond granita and brioche by the sea, or try swordfish alla ghiotta.
Afternoon: Take a boat tour to explore the sea caves around the island of Ortigia and see the city from the water. Conclude your journey by waiting for sunset on the Lungomare Alfeo, watching the sun dip into the Mediterranean, painting the white stone pink and gold.
