Giorno 3: Castelvecchio e San Zeno

Morning: Visit Castelvecchio, a medieval riverside fortress that houses an art museum masterfully designed by architect Carlo Scarpa. Walk across the fortified Scaliger bridge adjacent to the castle for evocative photos.
Lunch: Enjoy Pastissada de Caval (braised horse meat), a historic Veronese dish dating back to the times of Ostrogothic battles, served with soft polenta.
Afternoon: Visit the Basilica of San Zeno, a Romanesque masterpiece, famous for its rose window (the "Wheel of Fortune") and Mantegna's altarpiece. Enjoy the tranquility of this neighborhood before leaving the city.
