Lunch: Head to Piazza delle Erbe and enjoy risotto with Amarone (the prized Valpolicella wine) or bigoli col musso (donkey ragù).
Afternoon: Explore Piazza delle Erbe, with its colorful market, and pass under the Arco della Costa to enter the aristocratic Piazza dei Signori (known as Piazza Dante). Admire the Scaliger Tombs, the monumental Gothic tombs of the lords of Verona.
